The 2024 IAAT Conference

IAAT will hold its Annual Conference in Kerry this November, with the kind support of Kerry County Council. Day 1 will be a day of adventure activities followed by a tourism showcase and networking. Day 2 will then feature talks, panel discussions and an inspirational keynote address.

SCHEDULE AT A GLANCE

Day 1 (Wednesday) will feature a number of brilliant adventure activities to try out, with a B2B networking event in the evening (food included). This will be followed by a local tourism & hospitality showcase with entertainment, refreshments and plenty of opportunity to chat!!

Day 2 (Thursday) will then feature a series of presentations and panel discussions, covering key topics including sector performance, insurance, regenerative tourism, land access, standards, mental wellbeing, the international perspective and marketing of adventure, as well as considering some of the key opportunities and challenges we face.

Wednesday 28th will feature a series of brilliant insights and inspiration from industry leaders through talks and panel discussions. The theme of this year’s conference is ‘People. Process. Place', reflecting the role of the outdoor activity tourism sector in proudly delivering world class access to adventure in a responsible manner, not as users, but as custodians of our natural landscape.
