DAY 1 | Adventure Activities

Wed 26th November – From 9am

Day One will offer delegates the following exciting local adventure activity options that showcase some of the world-class experiences available within the destination.

You will be asked to choose your preferred Activity option when booking your ticket. Delegates may choose one of the following four options. Lunch & Transfers are included:

The Wolfhound & Beach Activity Adventure:
Experience exhilarating water activities at one of the counties most stunning coves, looking across at the sacred Croagh Patrick. The second part of this adventure is an unforgettable walking experience guided by gentle Irish Wolfhounds, Spèir and Maìrtìn, hearing captivating tales of Ireland’s ancient past.

Beach Horse Riding & Clew Bay Island Experience:
Trek along the beach on beautiful horses, taking in some unique local culture & heritage with your guide. You will also experience an exciting sea safari on Clew Bay, travelling over to Collanmore island for some pleasant surprises!

The Pilgrim Path Adventure:
Enjoy this unique tour, walking a section of the Croagh Patrick Heritage trail, featuring some of the most important spiritual and archaeologically significant sites in our sacred heritage, including the Rock art of the Boheh Stone and spectacular views of Ireland’s Sacred Mountain, Croagh Patrick.

The Great Western Greenway Adventure:
Cycle the famous Mayo Greenway from Westport town out to Achill Island, with some unique pitstops along the way!

These activities will be followed that evening by a B2B networking marketplace event at the Knockranny House Hotel from 5.00pm (food included), and then local Mayo tourism showcase event from 7pm. There will be live music and plenty of networking opportunities!!

Please note that where there are morning and afternoon activities, and these may be reversed when splitting groups.

That evening…

B2B Networking Marketplace & Tourism Showcase:

A B2B networking session for industry will take place from 5pm, followed by a Showcase highlighting the best of what Mayo tourism has to offer. Please tick if attending when booking your ticket.

The evening is a brilliant opportunity to meet tour operators, activity providers, agents and other stakeholders from all over Ireland to discuss potential collaborations. There will also be live entertainment on the evening.
